EDITING: Titles

After deciding on the order and content of the titles according to the conventions of film openings, we went on to finding a font and deciding what type of structure we would use. We had previously learned about three ways of structuring a film opening: discrete, narrative or stand-alone titles.

We decided to use a stand-alone title structure, but to also include a few narrative titles which would be superimposed on the scenes.

THE FONT
The font that we chose for our titles was Courier, which is a classic font that reminded us of a typewriter, which is why we used the 'Typewritter' effect for the text in several of our titles, which makes the letters appear one at a time.
