DREAMCATCHER

In this film opening, we get spooky, suspenseful music which helps to show that it may be a horror movie. Also the dark, snowy atmosphere helps create a spooky, mysterious atmosphere which helps to draw the audience in and give them a sense of what they will be watching. We get close ups on different objects which then seems to change its shape into another object which is very abstract therefore helping to create a sense of mystery and horror. There is a lot of fast pace editing of the objects blending with each other which helps to make it seem unusual. Blue, white and black are used throughout to help create a wintry, mystical atmosphere.


JAMES BOND

This film opening has a long shot of James Bond walking with the audience looking at him through a sort of sniper scope following him and then him turning around shooting towards the audience which straight away shows its an action film and grabs their attention. We get a theme song over the pictures to help keep it interesting and to help build up anticipation.
